Upcoming Publication
Submission are now closed for our maiden publication journey, Reclamation – a print and digital magazine that centers the experiences of women and mothers.
Theme
Set to release in Spring 2024, the theme of our inaugural publication is Reclamation.
We explore reclamation of the Mother through the emergence of wildness and rebellion in our health, children, spaces, rituals, and traditions. Together with beauty and tension, we unravel mainstream narratives and tell stories of liberation and creativity as emanating life forces.
We seek writings, interviews, art, practices, recipes, tutorials, music, and film that recognize the grounding causality of nature’s power to create and destroy – as represented in the cycles of birth, death, and regeneration that are innate in The Mother, as in us.
Join us under the rose.
Topics Include (but not limited to):
Holding space for rebellion in our children
Radical reclamation of family wellness
Rituals and practices to reclaim the artistry of motherhood
Liberatory materialism – a reverence for the natural material process during acts of creation
Reclamation of ancestral roots – tracing our way back to The Mother
Respecting Nature’s desires – the role of the wolf, so-called invasive species, etc.
